This feature offers professional end users maximum performance for a variety of heavy-duty applications. For example, the first speed is ideal for use with hole saws and self feed bits when drilling large holes in wood. The second speed is designed for use with auger bits or screwdriving. And the third speed is meant for hammer drilling into concrete. Additionally, the DC900KL is equipped with a 0.5-inch self-tightening chuck that automatically tightens throughout operation. This provides the end user with over twice the bit gripping torque of a traditional keyless chuck. To withstand the most demanding applications and the most extreme jobsite environments, Dewalt has designed the DC900KL with a high level of durability and reliability. For added comfort and control, this multi-use drill has an anti-slip comfort grip that makes it easy to handle.
When compared to the industry's leading corded and cordless hammerdrills, the DC900KL drills faster and longer than the competition.
